20 Outstanding Women!
We found the women who go above and beyond to make their communities a better place to live. Those unsung heroes in our neighborhoods – the ones who are already busy, yet find the time to give back in big ways to help others.

Today's Outstanding Woman is,
Theresa Boone of Clifton Park
Ms. Theresa Boone, affectionately known as Terry, is a deserving candidate for Outstanding Woman of the Capital Region. As the Director and founder of The Saratoga Ladies (TSL), a not-for-profit volunteer group, Terry selflessly dedicates her time to honoring fallen Veterans and comforting their families at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (SNC) in Schuylerville, New York. After residing in New Hampshire for 42 years, Terry returned to New York in 2021, bringing a wealth of experience in public service, retail, and volunteer work. Inspired by her family's military service, she founded TSL to ensure that Veterans receive a final and loving tribute, especially those with little or no family. Terry's heartfelt commitment reflects her exceptional contributions to the community and her dedication to honoring the nation's heroes.
