20 Outstanding Women!
We found the women who go above and beyond to make their communities a better place to live. Those unsung heroes in our neighborhoods – the ones who are already busy, yet find the time to give back in big ways to help others.

Today's Outstanding Woman is,
Christine Rickeman of Wynantskill
Christine is an invaluable asset to the NAMI affiliate, always ready and eager to extend a helping hand. Whether it involves organizing family support groups, Connection Peer Support Groups, or aiding individuals and families in crisis, she consistently exceeds expectations. Drawing from her own experiences as both someone with mental health symptoms and a family member, Christine offers invaluable insight and support to others navigating the mental health system. She serves as a beacon of support, providing guidance and reassurance to those grappling with feelings of overwhelm. Christine's steadfast dedication and willingness to assist have garnered her the trust and appreciation of individuals from all walks of life. Personally, she is deeply appreciated for her contributions both professionally and as a friend.
