20 Outstanding Women!
We found the women who go above and beyond to make their communities a better place to live. Those unsung heroes in our neighborhoods – the ones who are already busy, yet find the time to give back in big ways to help others.

Today's Outstanding Woman is,
Belinda Spinner of Queensbury
Belinda, a dedicated nurse with 41 years in acute care, extends her care beyond work to her community, family, and friends. During the Covid pandemic, she initiated the Shine On Program, delivering personalized bottles to grieving families with letters from medical staff. Belinda now contributes to the Nurses Honor Guard program for funeral ceremonies. A volunteer on medical missions to Guatemala, she organizes year-round hiking adventures for Glens Falls Hospital staff through the Darn Tough program, fostering nature retreats for stress relief. Belinda supports the Lake George Land Conservancy, Chestertown Challenge, and the Jungle Experience Zoo in Granville. Passionate about volleyball, she created Storm Volleyball and the Power of Pink, raising cancer awareness through tournaments. A multiple-time recipient of Times Union Nurse of the Year and Daisy Nurse awards, Belinda's compassionate spirit extends to her dedication as "Mom Spin" during her son's deployment in Afghanistan. Her life revolves around her four children, extended family, work family, community, and friends, all touched by her kindness and contagious spirit.
