Lake George Winter Carnival Kicks Off with Epic Ice Races, Fireworks & Family Fun!
The Lake George Winter Carnival kicked off this weekend, bringing visitors from near and far to experience the charm and excitement of winter in the Adirondacks. With a variety of activities for all ages, the opening weekend featured the exciting and always entertaining outhouse races, the popular keg and skillet toss, and the Chili Cookoff where TR's Restaurant in Lake George took first place. The festive atmosphere was further enhanced by live music and entertainment, delicious local food, and a stunning fireworks show that lit up the night sky.
Looking ahead, the Lake George Winter Carnival schedule will continue to offer a packed lineup of events throughout weekends in February. Upcoming highlights include the polar plunge for the brave, car and motorcycle Ice Races for the thrill seekers, and weekly rotating cookoffs including the upcoming BBQ, Chowder, Chicken Wing and Mac and Cheese. Whether attendees try their hand at frozen games or simply enjoying the scenic winter wonderland, the carnival promising something new each weekend, ensuring that visitors can enjoy winter fun in a variety of exciting ways all month long.
