Albany will host two parades on Saturday: the North Albany Limerick Parade and the City of Albany St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The events will feature road closures and parking restrictions, starting with a Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church at 9 a.m. The North Albany Limerick Parade will begin at 12 p.m., followed by the St. Patrick’s Day Parade at 2 p.m. The parade routes and parking restrictions are detailed for attendees to plan accordingly. - Beginning at 8 a.m., Central Ave. between Quail St. and Lexington Ave. will be closed for parade lineup
- Beginning at 9 a.m., the entire St. Patrick’s Day Parade route will be closed to all traffic
- Central Avenue from Quail Street east to Washington Avenue
- Washington Avenue from Central Avenue east to Washington Avenue/Eagle Street/State Street
- State Street from Washington Avenue/Eagle Street east to Broadway
- ALL cross streets along the parade route will be closed in preparation for parade kick off, including Eagle Street as well as N&S Pearl Streets from Pine Street to Hudson Avenue
