Closed since 2020, the movie theaters at Wilton Mall are expected to reopen by February. Scene One Entertainment (formerly Bowtie Cinemas) has taken over managing the eight theaters within the mall. In a statement, Scene One CEO Joe Masher said they are just about ready to go:
The theater is in fantastic shape and the mall has maintained it beautifully since its pandemic closure. The developments happening around the mall are encouraging.
Moviegoers can expect some upgrades as well. Each cinema will feature new leather rocking hairs and wall to wall screens. One auditorium will boast a 2000 foot screen and enhanced Dolby surround sound.
Screen One also owns Schenectady's Movieland Cinemas and recently purchased Huck Finn's Playland.
