In a very surprising announcement, Saratoga Coffee Traders said they will be closing up shop on Broadway in Saratoga. In a post on Facebook Saturday, owner Scott Swedish said his Saratoga location will close on October 29th. He says their lease is not being renewed.
Although not ideal, Swedish says he is anxious to get their new location on Jay Street in Schenectady up and running in November. Meanwhile, he assured fans of the restaurant that they hope to be back in business in the Spa City:
I'm a Sagittarius, and my wife is a Scorpio. With my determined nature and her ability to transform, you can bet we're not finished in Saratoga yet. See you soon.
