Gov. Kathy Hocul held a press conference yesterday at The Carriage House at The Fort William Henry Conference Center and Hotel to announce that Downtown Lake George would be receiving a $10 Million grant for the revitalization of the area. She also announced that Hoosick Falls and Schuylerville would be getting $4.5 Million as well.
During the press conference Hocul said -
“When I read the application, it is steeped in ambition,”
The overall goal for the Lake George area is to make Lake George a year round destination. The grant will be used to make improvements to housing as well as making the Village and area more walkable.
