This week's Kid Of The Week is....
I would like to nominate my niece, 11 year-old Kaylee Whelan of Guilderland as Kid of the Week. I share an apartment with my sister, Julie and her daughter Kaylee. Recently, I adopted a 7 year old disabled child from Florida. My daughter's moving in and becoming part of our family could have been quite difficult for my niece however, she opened her arms and heart to my new daughter. She even assisted in getting our home ready for her adoption ceremony. When I asked her if she wanted to decorate for the adoption party she said "after I finish my other responsibilities". She then began to clean, organize and decorate for the party/ceremony! I think Kaylee acted in a mature manner and is a wonderful cousin, niece and daughter to us and our new member of the family-
